Silcagrease G220 is a high-performance piston lubricant developed for mild steel high-pressure die casting (HPDC) processes. Its specially formulated combination of high-purity natural graphite and a white solid lubricant provides superior lubrication and protection for piston and shot sleeve systems, extending equipment life and supporting consistent process performance.

Its specially formulated composition delivers stable performance at high temperatures while helping reduce casting porosity through low consumption. Thanks to its capillary action, the lubricant spreads evenly across the piston and shot sleeve surfaces, providing effective and consistent protection.

Method of Application

Silcagrease G220 is applied to the piston end using a brush or cloth. When the piston temperature exceeds 90°C, the product spreads evenly between the piston and shot sleeve due to capillary action, providing effective lubrication.
