Granular Piston Oil - Silcadur PLG 100
Silcadur PLG 100 is a dry-type lubricant specifically developed for the piston (plunger) and shot sleeve lubrication in high-pressure aluminum die casting machines.
Features
It reduces porosity in castings because it is used in very small quantities.
Its free-flowing and dust-free granular structure makes it suitable for automated applications.
It extends the lifespan of the shot sleeve and piston thanks to the capillary action.
No flames are generated during the application process.
Congealing point: 98 – 105 °C
Graphite Content 18 – 23 %
Solid Lubricant: High-purity graphite is combined with a synergistic mixture of white solid lubricants.
Size: 450 – 950 µm, 950 – 1550 µm, 1550 – 1850 µm,
- Aplication: Silcadur PLG 100 is applied to the spray can using automatic dosing equipment. Manual dosing is also possible, but not recommended.
